How do I praise Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, before supplicating?

Praise be to Allah by mentioning His beautiful names, His sublime attributes, His magnificent actions, and His blessings. Among what has been narrated regarding praise before supplication is the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "O Allah, our Lord, to You be praise, You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. To You be praise, You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. To You be praise, You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. You are the Truth, Your word is true, Your promise is true, and the meeting with You is true." (Agreed upon). And his (peace be upon him) saying: "O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of the Great Throne, our Lord and Lord of everything, Splitter of the grain and the date-stone, Revealer of the Torah and the Injeel and the Furqan, I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock You seize. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; and You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; and You are the Manifest, so there is nothing above You; and You are the Intimate, so there is nothing beyond You. Relieve us of debt and enrich us from poverty." (Narrated by Muslim). If the supplicant says: "O Allah, to You be praise that You are Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful," or "To You be praise as befits the glory of Your Face and the greatness of Your authority," or "To You be praise for faith, Islam, and the Qur'an," then he has praised Allah.
