Is it permissible to replace young, virgin camels (abkar al-ibil) designated for charity with a young, male camel (qa'ud) and sell it to donate its price, knowing that the value of the qa'ud is higher?

If a father bequeaths the offspring of his camels for charity and spending on good causes, and their offspring are females, and the questioner wishes to exchange them for males, this is not permissible. This is because it constitutes altering a bequest, which is forbidden by Islamic law, as stated in the Almighty's words: "Then whoever alters it after hearing it, the sin thereof is only upon those who alter it." The testator's bequest must be carried out exactly as he intended it, regardless of whether the alternative is more expensive or cheaper.
