Will Paradise and Hellfire, and the Throne, and the Footstool, and the Preserved Tablet remain, or will they be destroyed on the Day of Resurrection?

When the Hour comes, this world, including its earth and heavens, will undergo a transformation, as Allah the Almighty says: "On the Day when the earth will be changed to other than the earth, and so will be the heavens, and they will emerge before Allah, the One, the Irresistible." And Allah the Almighty says: "When the heaven is cleft asunder, and when the stars are scattered, and when the seas are made to flow forth, and when the graves are overturned, every soul will know what it has put forth and left behind." As for what is outside this world, some of it will not undergo change, such as Paradise and Hellfire, because they were created for eternity and permanence, and similarly, the Throne (Al-Arsh) and the Footstool (Al-Kursi), as Allah the Almighty says: "And the heaven will be rent asunder, for that Day it will be frail, and the angels will be on its edges; and eight [angels] will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them." And the Hadith of Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him. As for the Preserved Tablet (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz), Allah knows best its state, and it is a matter of the unseen in which nothing can be said except through revelation, and there is no text concerning it. It is incumbent upon a servant to ask and understand what they need concerning their religion and what will lead to the betterment of their condition.
