The answer

A Muslim must utilize their life in what benefits them in the hereafter, for Allah will question them about it. It is not permissible for them to expose themselves, their wealth, or others to danger, such as drifting (تفحيط) or dangerous cycling, due to the Almighty's saying: (And do not throw yourselves with your own hands into destruction) and due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: (There shall be no harm nor reciprocating harm). As for cycling aimed at strengthening the body without exposing oneself to danger, it is permissible.
