Can the jinn know everything in the past and present, and if so, why do countries with many sorcerers not use the jinn to find wanted individuals, and why do sorcerers not use the jinn to steal money instead of getting meager amounts from people?

The jinn cannot know everything, neither present nor past. Allah's saying: "And when he fell, the jinn became clear that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in the humiliating torment" indicates their ignorance. What sorcerers do in subjugating the jinn is by Allah's decree. Sorcerers cannot harm anyone except with Allah's permission. So, whoever Allah protects from harm will not be afflicted by the sorcerers' magic. This is evidence that the jinn are not capable of doing everything.
