How can one get rid of the book "Shams al-Ma'arif al-Kubra," which was acquired merely for possession?

This book is among the books of magic, sorcery, and heresy, and it must be disposed of by tearing it up or burning it. Some scholars, such as the Shafi'ites, have explicitly stated the obligation of doing so. Al-Nawawi mentioned in Al-Majmu' that it is impermissible to sell books of disbelief, astrology, sorcery, philosophy, and other prohibited false sciences; rather, they must be destroyed. Al-Khatib Al-Shirbini affirmed this in Mughni Al-Muhtaj, stating: "It is not permissible to sell books of disbelief, magic, astrology, sorcery, and philosophy... rather, they must be destroyed due to the prohibition of engaging with them."
