How should the intention be made for spontaneous actions that occur impulsively? Is a general intention to help sufficient, or must the intention be brought to mind before each act?

1. Intention (Niyyah) is the resolve and determination of the heart towards what a servant desires.

2. Your waking up for Fajr prayer does not suffice for the specific intention of prayer, which is a pillar. The fundamental principle is that the intention should be simultaneous with the Takbirat al-Ihram or precede it by a short time.

3. If you give someone a ride in your car with the intention of helping them, the intention is realized simply by the resolve to perform the action.

4. If you perform a good deed, such as guiding someone to a place with cold water, and you did not intend to fulfill a command (i.e., did not make a specific intention for reward), you will still receive reward according to the view of some scholars.
