What is the ruling and expiation for repeatedly breaking the fast in past Ramadans due to smoking, and what is required for breaking the fast in the current Ramadan due to anger?

Smoking during the daytime in Ramadan invalidates the fast and is forbidden by Islamic law. Intentionally breaking the fast in Ramadan without a valid excuse is a major sin. The smoker must offer sincere repentance, seek forgiveness, and make up for the fasts missed. They also owe an expiation for delaying the making up of the fasts, which is a Mudd of food (750 grams of rice) for each day whose make-up was delayed beyond its legally prescribed time (between one Ramadan and the next), if the delay was without an excuse. However, if one was ignorant of the prohibition of delaying the make-up, then there is no expiation upon them. The expiation for delay does not multiply with the multiplication of Ramadans.
