What is the ruling on someone who leaves the mosque when the prayer is about to begin, claiming that the imam does not place his toes on the ground during prostration and that he advised him but he did not change, and is his departure from the mosque justified?

One must prostrate on the seven limbs (the forehead, the nose, the hands, the knees, and the tips of the feet). Scholars differ on the validity of the prayer of one who omits any of these limbs. However, the congregant should not leave the mosque if the prayer has been called and their Imam neglects to prostrate on some of these limbs, even if they believe such an omission invalidates the prayer.

The reasons for this are: 1. The majority of the Salaf believe in the validity of the congregant's prayer even if the Imam does something that the congregant considers to invalidate the prayer, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "They lead you in prayer; if they are correct, it is for you and for them, and if they err, it is for you and against them." 2. Their departure would incite discord among the worshippers. 3. Leaving the mosque after the call to prayer (Adhan) is prohibited, so how much more so when the prayer itself is being established.

Those in charge of the mosque should replace the Imam if he does not pray properly and does not accept advice, because the matter of Imamate is of great importance.
