Is replying to a text message via phone during the Friday sermon considered "laghw" (idle talk)?

Replying to mobile phone messages during the Friday sermon is a forbidden idle act, as the explicit prohibition was stated for something even easier in the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “Whoever touches the pebbles has engaged in idle talk.” This is further supported by Al-Nawawi’s statement: “And in it is the prohibition of touching pebbles and other forms of fidgeting during the sermon, and it contains an indication of the heart and limbs turning towards the sermon.” If moving pebbles and prayer beads is considered idle talk, then replying to mobile phone messages is even more so.
