Are the Houris exclusively for men, or do women also have a share in them?

The Quran does not describe "spouses" (azwāj) as "purified" (muṭahharūn), but rather Allah describes them as "purified" (muṭahharah), which is the plural of the word "spouse" (zawj) and applies to both men and women. The intention here in the verse is women, specifically the women of Paradise, who are pure from all harm. Houris (al-ḥūr al-ʿīn) is a description of a female, and this has been mentioned in the Holy Quran with clear feminine attributes. All of this indicates that the intended "purified spouses" and "houris" are women in Paradise, and this is what the exegetes have unanimously agreed upon. The existence of male houris for women in Paradise cannot be proven by relying on the Quran and Sunnah, for the Quran describes houris with feminine attributes, and to say otherwise would be speaking about Allah without knowledge. Muslim women in Paradise will marry Muslim men. A woman who did not marry in this world, or whose husband was not among the people of Paradise, will marry in Paradise whomsoever her soul desires.
