Moreover, it often entails bribing the employee, which is a reprehensible act. Gifts are not permissible for obtaining tenders because they lead to fraud and favoring the undeserving. It is not permissible for the tender awarding committee to unduly favor an employee by awarding a tender for his house or his father's house, or by increasing the house's rent, due to the harm it causes to competitors, and the injustice and betrayal it inflicts upon the government. Whoever becomes aware of such a reprehensible act must change it. Any increase resulting from fraud and betrayal is not permissible for the employer, nor is it permissible to take a percentage from it.
