Will the one who drinks alcohol in this world be eternally deprived of it in Paradise, or might Allah forgive him later and permit him to drink it?

A drinker of alcohol who has not repented before death is threatened with being deprived of it in the Hereafter. There are two scenarios for him:

The first: If he drinks it considering it permissible and denying its prohibition, he thereby commits an act of disbelief. If he dies in this state, he dies as a disbeliever, never entering Paradise and never enjoying its drink.

The second: If he drinks it while believing in its prohibition, there are two opinions concerning this:

1. He will be deprived of it for a specific period, or his entry into Paradise will be delayed as a punishment, after which he will enter it and drink from its wine. This opinion is based on the idea that Paradise contains whatever souls desire, and that perpetual deprivation is considered a punishment, and there is no punishment in Paradise. The response to this is that this deprivation would be temporary or would occur before entering Paradise.

2. He will be permanently deprived of it in Paradise, even if he enters it. This opinion is based on the apparent meaning of the Hadith, and that Allah will remove from the heart of its drinker the desire for it. This deprivation is not a punishment but rather a نقص نعيم (deficiency in enjoyment), and the people of Paradise have different ranks, and no one will grieve over what they have missed. This opinion is closer to the apparent meaning of the Hadith.
