Does a Quran teacher who engages in sodomy during the same period receive wages for his teaching, based on the noble verse, "Indeed, good deeds do away with ill deeds"?

The bearer and teacher of the Qur'an is more obligated to obedience and avoidance of sin. The sin committed by a bearer of the Qur'an is a grave one. A believer should not forget their sins; rather, they should view them as mountains and remain constantly apprehensive and fearful of their consequences, hoping for God's forgiveness. God accepts the sincere repentance of His repentant servants and transforms their evil deeds into good ones. "One who repents from sin is like one who has no sin."
