Which is more rewarding: accepting payment for teaching the Holy Qur'an, or seeking another job to meet financial needs?

What we see is that it is best for the questioner to accept work in a Quran memorization society and to seek the reward for teaching the Quran, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The best among you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it." If the original motive is to seek reward, then what he obtains from worldly gains will not nullify his reward, even if it diminishes it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No raiding party raids in the way of Allah and obtains spoils but that they hasten two-thirds of their reward from the Hereafter, and one-third remains for them. And if they do not obtain spoils, their reward is complete for them."
