Should the sorcerer be forgiven or supplicated against?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

If it is confirmed that a person has bewitched you, then their action is an unlawful injustice, and it is permissible to supplicate against them. It has been authentically reported that Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas and Sa'id ibn Zayd supplicated against those who wronged them. As the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah." It is also permissible to forgive them, and it may be better if they regret their actions and repent.
