Is it better not to perform Iʿtikāf and Tarāwīḥ prayers individually if devotion and focus are better achieved when performing them in solitude rather than among people in the mosque?

I'tikaf is the devotion to staying in the mosque for worship, and it is legislated by the Qur'an, Sunnah, and scholarly consensus. I'tikaf is particularly emphasized in the last ten days of Ramadan. I'tikaf is recommended even if individual prayer is more devout, and it is preferable to pray Tarawih in congregation and then seclude oneself for worship. Most jurists hold that congregational Tarawih prayer is better, while the Malikis believe that individual prayer or prayer in homes is better if it does not lead to the abandonment of mosques.
