How can the Footstool (Kursi) be so small in comparison to the Throne (Arsh), like a ring in a desert, when it is the place of the Lord’s two Feet? And where is the Footstool located?

One must believe in the Throne (al-Arsh) and the Footstool (al-Kursī). The Throne is the ceiling of all creations and the greatest of them, and Allah has established Himself upon it in a manner befitting His Majesty. As for the Footstool, it is the place of the Lord's two feet, and it is a magnificent creation that encompasses the heavens and the earth, yet it is smaller than the Throne. The ratio of the Footstool to the Throne is like a ring cast in a desert. Both the Throne and the Footstool are located above the seven heavens.
