Is one who hears a verse of prostration from another country obligated to prostrate?

The scholars have agreed on the permissibility of prostration of recitation (Sujud al-Tilawah) for the listener. The majority have gone to the extent of saying it is sunnah (recommended), while some consider it Wajib (obligatory). The listener prostrates with the reciter if the reciter is reading directly through communication channels, whether it is a listening session or a correction session. The listener prostrates with him if he sees his prostration or knows that he will prostrate. The scholars have differed regarding the reciter for whom it is sunnah for the listener to prostrate for his recitation. The first opinion stipulates that the reciter must be qualified to lead the listener in prayer, while the second opinion does not stipulate this, and the listener prostrates for the reciter's prostration in every situation. The listener prostrates without following in prayer if he knows that the reciter has prostrated, and he may rise before or after him.
