Is it true that Abraham and Ishmael removed the idols from the Kaaba, but one idol remained, meaning "the god," from which the name "Allah" was derived, who was the moon god in paganism and whose symbol was the crescent moon, and the month of Ramadan is determined by the lunar cycle, and is Islam connected to this pagan custom?

Ibrahim and Ismail, peace be upon them, were the ones who built the Kaaba by Allah's command. There were no idols in it then; rather, they were placed there many years after them until Allah sent Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, who destroyed the idols and purified the Sacred House.

The majestic name "Allah" is derived from "alaha, ya'lahu," indicating love and worship, and is not derived from the name of an idol.

Islam came with the monotheism of Allah and fought against idolatry and the worship of planets, and is not connected to them. As for the association of the Ramadan fast with the crescent moon, it is not for the worship of the crescent moon, but because Allah made the crescents as timings for acts of worship.
