The answer

If blood continues to flow for a month, which is unusual, it is considered استحاضة ( - irregular vaginal bleeding outside of menstruation). A woman experiencing istihadah must perform (ritual purification), pray, and fast after her usual menstrual period ends. This is because the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Fatimah bint Hubaysh: "That is just a vein, and not menstruation. So, when your menstruation comes, refrain from praying, and when it goes, wash the blood from yourself and pray."

Therefore, any missed days of must be made up. A penalty for delaying the making up of these days is also required, which is to give a mudd (a specific measure) of food to a poor person for each day, along with making up the prayers that were left during the istihadah and after the menstruation ended.
