The answer

The Holy Quran and prophetic supplications are a cure for physical and psychological ailments. Allah Almighty says: (And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers) [Al-Isra: 82]. It is desirable for a Muslim to combine treatment with (Islamic incantations) and medical drugs, as they are two complementary causes for healing and do not contradict each other. Furthermore, repentance and turning back to Allah are among the greatest causes of healing from psychological problems.
