Will I receive the reward for Hajj if I intend to perform Hajj while in military uniform and do not remove the sewn garments due to work necessity?

There is no harm in performing Hajj in military uniform for someone who is assigned to Hajj duties and cannot perform them in the Ihram garments because the competent authority does not permit it. An expiation (kaffarah) is required for wearing sewn clothes and covering the head, which is: feeding six needy persons (half a saa' of dates, rice, or the staple food of the country for each needy person), or fasting for three days, or sacrificing a sheep.
