Is it permissible to perform Salat (prayer) in a workplace that contains a washbasin and an area for preparing drinks, and part of which includes a toilet with no barrier between it and the prayer area, and the toilet is in the direction of the Qibla?

For the validity of prayer, complete purification from minor and major ritual impurity (hadath) and from filth (khabath) is required. If the place is pure, then there is no impediment to praying in it, even if it is a kitchen or a hallway, by placing a sutrah (barrier), or if the toilet is in the direction of the qiblah. The employee must not delay the prayer beyond its prescribed time under the pretext of not having a designated place, for a pure place is sufficient for performing the prayer.
