If you find an interest-free, benevolent loan (qard hasan), then there is no harm in borrowing to undertake permissible matters. However, borrowing with usury for travel is not permissible unless there is a necessity, and necessity does not appear to be realized in this case. Therefore, one must avoid usurious loans and seek permissible means to increase income. Borrowing with usury is only permissible in cases of extreme necessity, where there is a fear of perishing or of not being able to secure basic needs.
