The answer

If a loan involves usurious interest, it is unlawful () in Islamic law and is not permissible to take unless there is an overwhelming necessity ( mulji'ah) that entails a serious risk or extreme hardship to one's life, limb, honor, intellect, or wealth. Whoever reaches this stage is permitted to take it, based on the Almighty's saying: "And He has already explained to you what He has forbidden to you, except for that to which you are compelled." However, if one is not in dire necessity, or finds a permissible alternative, it is not allowed for them to engage in usury. A Muslim must beware of the whispers of Satan, who beautifies the unlawful and threatens with poverty. As for a good loan (), there is no harm in taking it and benefiting from it.
