Must a man obey his mother who forbids him from reconciling with his wife whom he has divorced with a revocable divorce?

It is not permissible for the wife to refuse to travel with her husband to a safe place. It is permissible for the husband to take back his revocable divorced wife, unless this is the third divorce. Obedience to the mother is not obligatory if she orders her son to refrain from taking back his wife until her waiting period (iddah) expires, especially given his love for her. Nor is it obligatory for the son to obey his parents if they order him to divorce his wife.
