Usurious interest should be spent on public welfare or given to the poor and needy. It is not permissible to give it to relatives who are not in need. It is permissible to spend it on planting trees in front of the house if they are for the general beautification of the street (public welfare), but it is not permissible if they are for the private benefit of the house. As for amounts deducted as administrative expenses, it is not permissible to pay them from usurious interest.
