ما هو سبب نزول سورة المؤمنون؟

Not every surah and verse has known occasions of revelation (asbab al-nuzul), and no verified reason for the revelation of Surah Al-Mu'minun has been established. Some weak reports have been transmitted regarding the occasion of revelation for certain of its verses, including what Imam Ahmad reported from a hadith narrated by Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), that when revelation descended upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with these verses, he said: "Ten verses have been revealed to me; whoever upholds them shall enter Paradise." Then he recited: {Certainly will the believers have succeeded} until he completed the ten (verses). Al-Tirmidhi and other scholars have deemed this hadith weak due to the weakness of its narrator, Yunus ibn Sulaym.
