Is it considered wrong to joke with something like, "When luck comes, it makes the blind man see"?

The Sunnis believe in divine decree (qadar), and the phrase "luck gives to kings" implies that luck gives without divine decree. Therefore, it should be avoided as a preventive measure (sadd al-dhari'a) against verbal polytheism, even if "luck" can be used to mean divine decree.

Furthermore, it is not permissible to joke about forbidden things, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I guarantee a house in the outskirts of Paradise for one who gives up arguing even if he is right, and a house in the middle of Paradise for one who gives up lying even if he is joking, and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who refines his character."
