Allah Almighty has prescribed repentance to show mercy to His servants and to relieve them of burdens and shackles, and He loves their repentance. If a servant is guided to sincere repentance that fulfills its conditions, then the sin will not affect him—by Allah's permission—neither in this world nor in the Hereafter.
