What is the ruling on a veiled woman wearing a " شرعي" swimsuit composed of tight trousers and a top, along with a head covering, knowing that some scholars have permitted it? Does Allah's saying, "And if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder," apply to them? And what is the ruling on a woman entering the sea wearing a wide abaya, an isdal, or a mulhafa that clings to her when she enters the sea?

The attire of a Muslim woman has conditions and regulations that must be adhered to when she goes out or in the presence of a non-mahram man. There is no such thing as a "halal swimsuit," and even if one exists, it is not permissible to describe it as such unless it meets the Sharia specifications. The described swimsuit is far from what is permissible in Sharia, and no trustworthy scholar would issue a fatwa allowing it. There is no harm in a woman swimming in modest and concealing attire, but if it clings to the body and defines the 'awrah, it is not permissible to appear in it in this state, even in front of other women.
