How is the inheritance divided among the deceased's 9 sons, 9 daughters, and 3 wives?

If the heirs are limited to those mentioned, and the deceased left no other heirs, then the three wives receive one-eighth, divided equally among them, due to the presence of a lineal descendant, as Allah states: "But if you have a child, then for them is one eighth of what you leave." The remainder goes to the sons and daughters by ta'sib (residuary inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females, as Allah states: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females."

Accordingly, the estate is to be divided into 216 shares: - For the three wives: 27 shares (one-eighth), with 9 shares for each. - For each son: 14 shares. - For each daughter: 7 shares.

It must be noted that matters of inheritance are serious and complex. A mere fatwa (definition) is not sufficient; rather, the matter must be referred to the Sharia (definition) courts for investigation and to ensure there are no other heirs, wills, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
