What is the ruling on using sweat in the perfume industry, and did the Prophet's—peace and blessings be upon him—sweat have a pleasant scent, or did the Companions perfume themselves with it by adding it to perfumes, bearing in mind that it has been scientifically proven that human sweat contains substances called pheromones that aid in sexual arousal?

We see that it is permissible to use musk (ʿaraq) as an additive to perfumes because it is pure, unless its addition is to alcoholic perfumes, in which case it becomes impure and its use is prohibited according to the majority of scholars who hold that intoxicants are impure. The sweat of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was added to perfume, and it was among the finest of perfumes.
