Among the easiest books for reconciling what appears to be contradictions in the verses of the Quran are: "Daf' Iyham al-Idtirab 'an Ayat al-Kitab" (Dispelling the Illusion of Contradiction from the Verses of the Book) by Al-Shinqiti, and the doctoral thesis "Da'awa al-Ta'ineen fi al-Quran al-Kareem" (Claims of Those Who Slander the Noble Quran) by Abd al-Muhsin al-Mutairi. From the classical heritage books: "Ta'wil Mushkil al-Quran" (Interpretation of the Difficulties in the Quran) by Ibn Qutaybah, and "Bahir al-Burhan fi Ma'ani Mushkilat al-Quran" (The Dazzling Proof in the Meanings of the Difficulties in the Quran) by Al-Naysaburi.
