Will the adulterous wife who repented be resurrected with her husband on the Day of Resurrection, and what if the husband does not wish that?

Some apparent indications in the Holy Quran suggest that a spouse may be joined with their partner, or vice versa, if one of them is of a lower rank, such as Allah’s saying: ﴿And [also] those who were righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring.﴾ Some scholars interpret this to mean that Allah, by His grace, raises the lower in rank to the higher. This issue is a door of hope and longing for Allah’s generosity, and it is not among the definitive matters.

Regarding a woman who repents from the sin of adultery, repentance nullifies Allah’s right, but the right of the wronged husband remains. Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that wronging the husband by corrupting his bed is greater than taking his money. Nevertheless, it is hoped, from Allah’s generosity and mercy, that He will bear the rights of His servants on behalf of the repentant and conceal them, as stated in the hadith: "Indeed, Allah will bring the believer near and place His screen over him and conceal him." So, if Allah forgives His servant and conceals them, it is not far-fetched that He would unite the repentant wife with her husband in Paradise, but this is contingent upon Allah’s generosity and grace.
