Is the following Hadith authentic: "No Jew or Christian ever meets but that he thinks to himself of killing a Muslim"?

Abu Al-Shaykh and Ibn Mardawayh narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "No Jew is ever alone with a Muslim except that he contemplates killing him." And in another wording: "except that he speaks to himself about killing him." Ibn Kathir said after citing it in his Tafsir: "It is a very strange hadith."
