What is the authenticity of this Hadith: "Two men came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, disputing, and he judged in favor of one of them. The one against whom the judgment was made said: 'Let us return to Umar.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'Yes, go to Umar.' So they went. When they came to Umar, the one in whose favor the judgment was made said: 'O son of al-Khattab, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, judged in my favor, and this man said: "Let us return to Umar." So the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent us to you.' Umar said: 'Is that so?' to the one against whom the judgment was made. He said: 'Yes.' Umar said: 'Stay where you are until I come out and judge between you.' So he came out, girded with his sword, and struck the one who said [Let us return to Umar] and killed him. The other man turned back to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Umar killed my companion, and if I had not outrun him, he would have killed me.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: [I did not think that Umar would dare to kill a believer.] Then Allah Almighty revealed: {But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what has occurred between them}. And did Allah absolve Umar from his killing?"
This narration was weakened by Al-Zayla'i because it is mursal (has a missing link in the chain of transmission) and due to the presence of Ibn Lahi'ah in its isnad (chain of narrators). It is well-known that the Companions were not hasty in shedding blood or acting independently of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
