What are the "three" mentioned in the noble Hadith: "Three, if they appear, a soul's faith will not benefit it if it had not believed before, or had not earned good through its faith"?
Muslim narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are three things which, if they appear, no good will come from a soul’s faith if it did not believe before, or earn good through its faith: the rising of the sun from the west, the Dajjal, and the Beast of the earth.”
It is known that Allah does not accept anyone’s repentance when the soul reaches the throat, based on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “Indeed, Allah accepts the repentance of a servant as long as he has not gargled [i.e., his soul has not reached his throat].” Repentance is accepted before the soul reaches the throat, and it is closed off from its seeker when the sun rises from the west.
