What is the ruling on a man who shaves leading the prayer in congregation?

Praying behind a fasiq (an open sinner) is permissible and valid, even though leading the prayer is a great honor, and the one most knowledgeable of Allah's Book should be put forward for it. Fisq (open sinfulness) is departing from obedience to Allah, such as engaging in usury and shaving the beard, both of which are major sins.
