Do hands become impure by touching a doorknob that was previously contaminated with dog saliva and then dried, after the hands have been washed beforehand?

If you touch a door after washing your hands, and both your hands and the door are dry, then impurity does not transfer to your hands merely by touching it. This is because a pure, dry object does not become impure if it comes into contact with a dry impure object.
