What is the ruling on touching a wet hand, after it has been purified from the saliva of a dog, to another wet object?

If a person touches a spot with dry dog saliva and their hand is wet, the spot on their hand that made contact becomes impure (najis) and must be washed seven times, one of them with earth or what serves its purpose. If the impure hand touches something wet, or if the hand itself is wet, that object also becomes impure. Scholars have differed regarding the ruling on washing the water used for the impure washings: some have made it obligatory to wash them seven times with earth, while others have held that their washing differs according to the number of remaining washes for the original impure spot.
