Writing the two declarations of faith (Shahadatayn) or the Beautiful Names of Allah in a respectable place is permissible, especially for the purpose of education and encouraging people to engage in remembrance (dhikr), as long as it is not exposed to desecration or placed in an irreverent location. However, it is not recommended to write them and hang them in the mosque, especially in the direction of the , for two reasons: firstly, it may distract the worshipper, and secondly, it was not the practice of the righteous predecessors (Salaf as-Salih).
