What is the ruling on skipping congregational prayers due to unpleasant underarm odor that bothers other worshippers, when it's not possible to perform ghusl before every prayer?

If a person's odor is strong and bothers the worshippers, and it cannot be removed, then it is permissible for him to stay away from the congregational prayer, and it is disliked for him to attend prayer in the mosque; this is to prevent harm to the worshippers. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever eats from this plant [meaning garlic], let him not approach our mosques until its odor has gone." This is also because the angels are bothered by what bothers the children of Adam. Included with garlic, onions, and leeks is anything with an unpleasant odor, whether it be food or other things, such as someone with bad breath or a wound that has an odor. By analogy, this applies to all places of congregational prayer, gatherings of knowledge and remembrance, and feasts.
