Does the saying of Allah Almighty (And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have put forth?) apply to someone who prays, fasts, and performs the obligatory duties, but smokes or commits minor sins?

The noble verse was revealed concerning disbelievers who reject the truth and deny it, as mentioned by Ibn Kathir and Al-Baghawi in their interpretations. Although the verse primarily refers to the turning away of rejection and denial, a Muslim who knows a religious ruling and does not respond to it may have a share in the verse from the perspective of their non-response to the truth, without reaching the level of disbelief. It is incumbent upon a Muslim to avoid all sins.
