The legitimate has specific conditions and characteristics. If what you wear does not conform to these specifications, it is not considered a legitimate Hijab. You must wear the legitimate Hijab, even if your father does not order you to, and removing it necessitates accountability. The request to remove it is impermissible, and your conviction in it is not a condition for its obligation. Your knowledge of it being an obligation, your accountability for removing it, earning reward, and honoring your father are sufficient reasons for your conviction and compliance with the command. Hasten to rectify your intention to attain reward.
