1. Anger, when not for the sake of Allah's inviolable prohibitions, is an unpraiseworthy trait, and thinking ill of a Muslim is a sin.

2. The wife's mahr (dowry) is her exclusive property, and none of her relatives have the right to claim any part of it, except for what she willingly donates. If it is customary for relatives to take a portion of it, and the wife consents, then there is no harm in it.

3. The exchange of visits between the husband and his in-laws is desirable to strengthen affection, as affinity through marriage holds a status close to blood kinship. The husband must accept visits from his wife's family and welcome them.

4. If the backbiting and spying attributed to the woman are true, she has committed two major sins for which she must repent.
