Does the wife have the right to demand the jewelry and the deferred dowry if she is the one who instigates problems, prevents the children from seeing the husband’s family, refuses a direct divorce, asks the husband to distance himself from his family, involves her family in their lives, deprives the husband of seeing his family with his children, and demands a divorce along with the advance dowry, the deferred dowry, the gold she borrowed from him willingly, in addition to her work salaries with which she helped him?

Marital life can only be stable with understanding, good manners, and overlooking mistakes. The wife must obey her husband in what is right, and she should not listen to corruptors and instigators, for he who corrupts a woman against her husband is not among the Muslims. The wife has the right to demand her dower (mahr), deferred dower (mu'akhkhar), and whatever she loaned to her husband, whether she is obedient or disobedient (nashiz). However, she is not entitled to maintenance (nafaqah) in cases of disobedience (nushuz) and defiance. The wife is not permitted to prevent her husband's children from visiting his family, and in this matter, the husband's word is final.
