Can one benefit from a consumer loan that is granted for the purchase of consumer goods or household appliances and is repaid with interest?

A consumer loan that includes interest (riba) is religiously forbidden because Allah Almighty prohibited usury without distinguishing between its types. Allah has threatened the usurer with destruction, war, and torment if he does not repent. Therefore, the questioner should not commit this grave sin, and if he has fallen into it, he must offer sincere repentance. If he can return only the principal, he should do so.
