The answer

It is forbidden for a pilgrim in for Hajj or to wear tailored clothes and socks. If someone does so—even if for an excuse—they must offer a (expiation), for which they have the choice of sacrificing an animal, or feeding six needy persons, or fasting for three days. There is no sin upon them if they committed the prohibited act due to an excuse. If a pilgrim in Ihram wears several prohibited items of the same type, such as a shirt, a turban, and socks, then only one fidyah is required.
